Why is the country of Israel so important to God? Why are the Jews so important to all of us?
Israel is the only country in the world God chose for Himself. #Genesis 12:1-3 In you all the families of the earth blessed. #Genesis 17:7 He took them out of Egypt into the Promised Land and made a Covenant with Israel forever. Without Israel no Bible, no ten Commandments, no faith and no Jesus! No New Testament! No law and order and no prosperity!. Jesus was a Jew. There would have been no Christianity without the Jews and without the country of Israel, which has the proof of faith and facts. When you visit Israel you see the evidence of what you believe in your own Bible. If Israel would be given over to the Palestinians, no historical sites would be left and no evidence of the Bible!. No Christians would be allowed to visit Israel and no rights and freedom for people, who are not Moslems! Look what happened in Iran & Iraq. The judgment of the Lord came upon Iran through a terrible earthquake that killed thousands of people recently in 2004. God is not a fool, we cannot oppose His Plan! God is judging the nations that have come up against Israel. We see natural disasters everywhere. We see this predicted in Isaiah 14:1-2 & 30-31 A friend in Jerusalem Tony Levin sent me this Scripture recently to indicate that Israel will not be destroyed again as it happened so many times before!. For the sake of the many believers in Israel (more than 5000) and believing Jews the Lord would protect the Land. In this same Scripture it also indicates what will happen to the Palestinians in rebellion to Israel. Let us pray that many Palestinians will turn to Messiah and that no hate will be taught in their schools so their lives will be saved from the judgments of the Lord.. See Ps. 101:8 God is a Judge and He wants the whole of Israel to be restored so that all can be free to worship the Lord in Jerusalem without fear /terror. May Ephraim (Joseph’s son born in Egypt) and Israel (Jacob) soon be united through the Prince of Peace and the King of Kings. Read Ezekiel 37:15-28.
