What is Palestine? And who are the Palestinians? According to Ludwig Schneider, a Jewish believer in Israel: Palestine is a man-made name, derived from Philistine. There are no more Philistines today. The Palestinians are mainly refugees from Jordan and Syria who started to settle in Israel after 1940.
Jordan and Syria does not want them back. As a matter of fact they are Arabs from those nations. The Romans used the name Palestine to get rid of the name Israel after Christ. Delilah was tempted Samson. She was a Philistine ( this was a place near Gad & Ashkalon in the South of Israel and she cut Samson’s hair so he lost his supernatural power. Today the Palestinians want to cut off the strength and power from Israel. David fought Goliath, a Philistine with 5 little stones. The power of the Lord was in David’s spirit and the 5 stones represent grace. Zech 12:10 I will pour upon the House of Judah the Spirit of grace and supplication. They shall weep for Me - By the Spirit of the Lord (Ruach Ha Kodesh) and intercession grace and salvation will come to Israel as promised by the prophets. The giants around Israel shall fail if Israel turns back to the power of the Lord.
The picture of David and the Philistine represents the situation today. The Arab nations are like Goliath, a big strong giant. The anointing of David will kill the giants not by might nor by power but by His Spirit! Let us pray God’s strength into Israel again!.
